Archie Barnes joins St. John’s faculty

TAMPA, FL (June 17, 2020)—We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Archie Barnes to the St. John’s family. Archie joins St. John’s on July 1 and will be with us at least through December 31 as a long-term substitute for Mrs. Mckay Hubbell. He will teach 5th Grade Language Arts.

Archie comes to us from Berkeley Preparatory School, where he taught middle division science from 2016-2020, including the two last years as a lead teacher. Archie is a graduate of Vanderbilt University (Bachelor of Science in Communications). Also a NCAA Division I Athlete, Archie was a Captain, four year letter winner, and leadership council member of the Vanderbilt Football Team. He has also coached Football and Basketball at the high school varsity and junior varsity levels.

Archie brings experience, energy, and enthusiasm to his role with St. John’s, and he is equally excited to be joining us.
